The last sourdough was a flop. Amongst the list of possible culprits are too much starter, not enough flour, not enough rising time, dough too moist.
So as to not change too many things at once, I made few adjustments:
- Full rise time of 15 hours + 5 hours
- Use exactly 1 cup of starter
- A little bit more flour so that the dough is light but not wet
The end result? This is the first loaf of sourdough that’s risen! All the previous ones were pretty flat and was wondering how people go them to round up at the top. Well, I think that this time, I can say I nailed it.
